The school day

The school day is from 8:40am until 3:10pm.

Doors open from 8:35am in the mornings.

 Uniform

Please make sure that children are in their uniform and that all items are labelled with their name. As the weather can be very changeable, it is important that they have a coat as we do play outside every day whatever the weather.

 PE

Your child will need a PE kit including shorts, t-shirt and pumps - all with your child’s name on.  

Children should bring their PE kit to school on Wednesdays. Getting dressed independently is an important skill to practise.

Book bag

Please make sure your child brings their book bag each day as they will have reading books and homework to take home and bring back everyday. In the morning put their book bag in their group box. 

 Snack

Every day the children can choose to have a healthy snack and milk or water to drink.

Homework

Every Friday your child will have their homework book. Inside you will find a newsletter telling you what we have been learning about during the week. There will be some homework designed to support their learning. Please encourage your child and support them.

Homework book need to be returned on the following Wednesday.
