Our School Term Dates and Holidays

Thank you to all our families who use the school holidays for all their travelling and family holidays.  It is a very important step in ensuring that your children have good attendance at school, have the best chance to learn and ultimately gain the best life chances. 

We strive for all children to achieve as close to 100% attendance as is possible.

Because of the high proportion of holiday absence in other schools, legislation was passed to limit the powers of Headteachers in this respect and it came into effect from the beginning of September 2013. Headteachers cannot grant term-time leave for the purpose of a holiday.  We do not grant holidays in term time.
