Magic and memories await children across Tameside this winter as the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme unveils its festive schedule. Families can look forward to a wide range of free holiday sessions and seasonal celebrations, alongside non-Christmas themed options, taking place throughout December at venues across the borough. Every booking includes a healthy, nutritious meal, ensuring children can enjoy fun and food together. Delivered by Tameside Council, the HAF Programme offers something for everyone – from Christmas parties, ice skating and bowling, to special appearances from Father Christmas. Dedicated sessions for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) will feature accessible activities tailored to their needs.
Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council have funded a number of providers through the central government funding HAF (Holiday Activity and Food Fund) to support children, young people and families throughout the holidays.
