Hello everyone! Can you believe that you have entered your last week of being a Class 4 pupil? 

This week, and over the summer, I would like you to work your way through your Home Learning Pack. I can not promise that I will be able to reply to any emails over the summer, so if you have a burning question that needs answering, please let me know before 3.15 pm on Thursday 23rd July. I will be setting up a Zoom meeting again to take place on Friday 24th July (I will send out invites this week!). If I have your questions by Thursday then I can answer them on Friday.

This week I would like you to write a letter to your next teacher, Mrs Wilde. It would be great if you could email me the letter so that I can pass it to her to read. This is a great way for her to get to know you a little more in time for September. 

You may want to write about the following:

  • Hobbies
  • Family
  • Favourite things (food, music, colour)
  • Subjects you enjoy and dislike
  • Any worries you have about next year

Lesson 44: Science - looking after our teeth

This week I would like you to read the sheets provided and answer the questions. You can answer these in your books, or you can complete on the sheet if you have printing facilities.

For the next few weeks, I would like you to work your way through the French booklet. This booklet goes over Y3 and Y4 learning. I would recommend that you use google translate on anything you are unsure of. I think this booklet is easy to follow and has great activities for you try.

Lesson 32: Types of Teeth

Learn the names of your teeth and what they are used for. You could draw your own diagram of a mouth and write about the function of each tooth. This work could be colourful or 3D! Alternatively, you could complete the sheet set (page 2).

English: Create your own Foodimal using the activity sheet prompts. For inspiration, click on the link below and watch the clip from Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2. This is the scene where the characters meet a Foodimal, Cheese Spider.

Cooking: Try getting a parent to help you to bake something sweet or cook a meal for the entire family. I would love to see some photographs of anything you manage to make ;-)
